What would you do if you came home and you find your teenage kids watching ' Fifty shades of grey'? 1) give out to them and turn it off? 2) watch it with them lol? 3) walk past and ignore? 4) other......?

It all depends on age really as in early teens i would ask why they want to see it, then i would turn off the electricity at the fuse board and say there was a power cut lol. If the late teens as in 17-18 id sit and watch it with them and ask what they taught if it, there all probally watching way worse on the internet anyway behind our backs

mr crazy

I came home last night from work and my girls age 19 and 16 were watching a movie. I walked past several times but didnt know what they were watching.....all I saw was lots of grey lol........They were laughing so much! I didnt say anything and they kept watching. I asked them later what it was. They told me and I asked: Was it any good lol? They giggled.....No point in telling them off as they're going to watch it anyway! I think ignoring it and me being totally casual about it worked well!!!

Walking with my 12 yr old other day and she saw an advert for the film, giggling she brings my attention to it I asked her why was she giggling her reply " you know" !! End of conversation.

But when we celebrated her recent birthday in a restaurant she decides to ask me " do I think 16 is too young to have sex" and ended up having a debate on it.

I was more impressed how well she conducted her views.

Keep talking to your kids, don't leave it to the school or their friends to educate them.

Normally when a film is made based on a book I would recommend reading the book instead. In this case I'd say watch the film and dont bother wasting your time reading that drivvle.

My town

The film is advertised everywhere. My 8 yr old says "mummy what the film about"

Hardly going to get into a conversation about it so I choose the easy option. 'I don't know'

I got told I was telling lies cause she seen the book.before on my bedroom cabinet.

Id sit down and explain the difference between a controlling man and a dominant man.

Then i would tell them never to trust a man that tries to out something in their body when they dont know where it came from or if it is clean and safe And to buy their own if they wanted to experiment.

Then id explain if someone is tying them up and they feel numb to ask to be released, the numbnesscan last forever.

Lastly id tell them to reject everyone once, to see how they cope with it.

Then id leave them to it.

I'd say 50 shades wouldn't be bad compaired to nymphomaniac on net flix. If you haven't seen it, its the same as watching a full blown porn With a cast of famous actors. In one scene the woman was getting double penetrated and it shows everything.
