Ok- Calm down!!!
before I'm accused of anything!!
Fat or skinny chips, which are the best, and why?
Yes the tread is about CHIPS read CHIPS, the ones you have with your Burger! and not you! No Paranoia! |

Triple cooked, fatties OMG !!!!
Queens Potatoes
Blanch in boiling water and sea salt till outers are soft.
Ruffle-up in the pot, till fluffy.
Freeze overnight.
Remove and slow fry at 150 Deg c, 1/2 goose fat, and sunflower oil!! till lightly brown.
Leave to cool.
Fry in very hot oil 170 deg c as above till golden brown!
Heart Stopping Fab....
Enjoy!

Try the twice cooked. Faster and taste good too.
Peel the potatoes and cut lengthways into roughly 1cm/½in slices. Cut each slice into fairly thick chips and rinse in a colander under plenty of cold water to remove excess starch. (If you have time, it's worth letting the chips soak in a bowl of cold water for several hours, or overnight.) Pat dry with kitchen paper.
Heat oil to 130°c and Fry for ten minutes, or until cooked through but not browned.
Remove the chips from the pan set aside to drain on plenty of kitchen paper. (The chips can be left for several hours at this stage.)
When ready to serve, reheat the oil to 190°Cand cook for 4-5 minutes, or until crisp and golden-brown. Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.
Season. Courtesy of the hairy bikers.

As long as there is taco on them I don't mind if there fat or skinny especially the ones outta abberakababra yum yum but a lot of them are closing lately so get yer asses out them and start eating abberakababra taco chips.. |
