Anyone else here in the same boat when you message someone an no reply but they have read your message,just a simple reply sorry not interested would be nice IS IT ME.OR ANYONE ELSE AGREE WITH ME |

I used to reply but ended up with endless messages of forced conversation on their part with my uninterested thanks but no thanks reply. Now I just delete. yes it takes a sec... when you receive one or two mails a day as a man. Women receive probably 100 mails a day. That's just wasting time replying to messages.

I usually do have them up but take them down when needs be like for *DTG's crazy forum threads lol. And then I forget to put them back up. But I'm not phased by the messages I'm amused by how many people actually don't read profiles properly and take a little delight in deleting the mails lol  |

Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. Crass one liners get ignored, those who may have at least taken time to write a message get a reply-unless they're clearly not what we seek in which case, that has already been covered in the profile.
Also find that quite often a simple & polite reply opens up a whole new line of questioning in regards to 'why' or 'can we chat anyway?'
Hence usually much simpler to read, delete and move on.
Then if they keep messaging, block. It's not rude, it's saving time and coming on here for what WE want. |

Maybe you should start with your profile too Paul, it's the first thing I look at and yes some of us do read them.
You say on yours that you don't like revealing anything about yourself on your profile and that means investing a lot of time mailing back and forth trying to figure out If a person would be interested in meeting you in the first place. Whether you like it or not a good profile can be a the start of a good conversation between people especially if you've not been verified. Saying on a profile you'd prefer a reply isn't a good way of getting one. A profile pic would also be good, it doesn't have to be revealing or a facepic.
There are so many singles here so you need to project yourself in a better way to get on well here. I hope I don't sound too harsh, just trying to help xx |

Agree with this 100% if you reply with a no thank you it leads into a pointless conversation so sometimes I just don't reply! There's no way to know who will say ok thanks anyway or who will go blah blah blah and keep messaging you for days until you have to block, so easier to not reply! |
