Perhaps the ladies can help me on this one. I find if I shave too close as in clean shave around the unmentionables its grand but a day later a lot of unsightly red bumps come up. I dont do it often as this happens but would like to know is there a way to not have this problem. Is it to do the method? Sensitive skin? Any creams or anything? I've seen pictures of guys and girls clean shaven with no issue so I'm just wondering whats up.
Also what are your opinions on hair down there? Me personally I prefer are clean shaved or either very close as it shows maintenance. Like its shows your taking care of yourself daily which should be the bare minimum if you ask me. I think a big bush with no trimming on guys and girls just gives off an impression that you dont do anything. Please I'd like to let this be known before the inevitable messages come through just because you may prefer a woman to be clean shaven does not make you a paedo into young girls with no hair. Some women tend to get very angry on that issue. Thoughts? |

Could be your skin is sensitive down below, aloe vera is really good but try the one that's 100 % pure as others could inflame the condition rather than soothe and heal..
I get rid of mine as I've always had a hatred for my own body hair but it's down to personal choice |

try shaving downwards instead of upwards too, or exfoliating every day in the shower. someone recently suggested using baby oil to shave too |

If that doesnt work you might need a visit to your gp to get skin allergy tests done.
The same thing happened to me for a long time and the more frequently i shaved /waxed,, the lesser the flare ups became so it could be your skin hasn't become accustomed to being assaulted with a razor just yet |

Really??!! Does it not clog the razor?
I epilate under my arms, the skin decided after 16 or so years that it would react to razors (despite trying all brands I could).
Couldn't face that on my legs or bikini area though. Torture |

Have you tried using a facial scrub before and afterwards? Gentle and cleansing. it will open up your pores and follicles and soften the hair, preparing your skin for a smooth shearing by the razor blade. I use it every time I shave my face, and I never get a rash.
Regards hair "down there", without generalising, I do find women with some pubic hair are more sexy. I might be the the last man in the world who actually appreciates well trimmed topiary!

Careful with the babyoil the razor might slip and you might be one ball short by the time you get to A&E |

Have you tried aftershave?
It usually happens because the pores have opened during shaving and have not closed properly.
Aftershave usually has alcohol to close the pours, and aloe vera and oils to soothe the skin.
Cold water can help too. |

Alcohol actually ages the skin and should be used sparingly if at all. Use ice cold water to close pores and a good moisturiser afterwards. Keep the aftershave cologne & parfume for your clothes neck and wrist. |

its a reaction to the skin as it seems u havent been doing it for awhile , try to moisturise it with a perfum free creme .
but the more u shave it the less it will happen and the rash will slowly get smaller in time and may eventually go as the skin gets used to it been shaved

If you're a woman, be careful with talc. It's been linked to cancer.
If you are using it you sould pour it onto your hands and not have big clouds of it in the air, then rub on the area. If you are putting it on your pussy you sould put it around the area and make sure none goes in. |

There's a write up about it in U magazine the doctor said sometimes it takes a mild steroid cream to clear the bumps redness. Some skin types are just very very sensitive |

Every man has put aftershave on his balls.
Once. |

Redness usually goes after a day or 2 so wouldnt imagine there would be much need for steroid cream. This only happens when I shave bald and yes I was going against the grain. My mistake normally I just kept it fully trimmed like zero blade. Thankfully my hair is not course so wasnt annoyingly prickly but all these tips are great. Thanks for sharing |

You need to be rinsing the blade thoroughly when ur shaving, I've found that the baby oil gel works wonders. |
