This is an attempt to write a playbook for those who are new to the lifestyle, so they could avoid making mistakes while dipping their toes for the first time.
Please add good rules to follow below.
I'll start with:
1. Everyone is entitled to say 'no' and it is not polite to ask for his/her/their reasons for saying so.
2. Always play safe and use condoms. This is for yours and your playmate's protection.
3. Do not be pushy or rude.
4. While messaging people, try to write more than just one sentence. |

"Isn't 2 down to two consenting adults to discuss and decide?"
I think it's for newbies, they may meet someone first who says "EVERYONE does it this way".
At least if they know that's not the case they can make a decision themselves |

Exactly. I was in a play situation where a guy made an attempt to enter a lady without putting on a condom, without asking if that is OK. We all reacted to it and made him aware that he must wear a glove, for which the lady was grateful as she otherwise would notice only soon after the fact and she wouldn't be pleased with it.
Different story is, if the participants agree to a play without protection. That is fine, as this is between them (they should better made it clear on their profile that they play with no protection, so others could make educated decision whether they want to meet them or not).
However new members should not assume that this is allowed without consent. I might have been more clear about it writing down that point. |
