I love watching his show.. (missed this week) he is absolutely bonkers. that crazy look in his eyes. He is actually like he is posessed.... i love watching him. |

The accent is a shocker I agree. I used to think he was a bit of a mouthpiece but he recently did something for someone I knows son who has cancer and I have a whole new respect for the guy, he was so kind and went out of his way to make this young guys dream come true. I admire him now for that. |

Think he knows exactly what he's doing...and for that I salute him...also think he's very talented...and for that I admire him....just hope he keeps good people around him...ultimately that's the key to staying level headed and focused |

He is his own man, he opperates in a busy, loud space and so I believe he has to bang his drum to be heard. The public face I guess is mostly smoke and mirrors.
He strikes me as a very focussed, passionate and hard working individual. He's sets a target and goes about getting what he wants.

I used to be big into ufc years ago but its gone to shit.
Steroids ruined it.
It's not the best mixed martial arts competition but its the best paying and time an time again you see really skilled people move over to ufc, juice up, and start to fight sloppy and like a lazy animals, they dont even go into fights with game plans any more.
I have no respect for anyone involved in it at all. |

I'm a long time UFC fan and its only recently that I've warmed to him I thought like most people he was just a cocky mouthpiece.
He is that, but he backs it up in the Octagon his speed and technique is outstanding. I must say having learned more about him I now think he the real deal.
Plus he's a very proud Irishman and does a lot of good work behind the scenes.
Best of luck to him against Jose Aldo, a victory could very set up a showdown in Croker - now that'd be a fun Fab social |

He's good, very good. Big future ahead of him on the ufc. an unbelievable athelete. I seen some of the training he does is phenomenal.
He's a show man too, who know's how to milk the dollar.

No comparison between Roy keane and Conor Mcgregor whatsoever. They are both totally different personalities.Long time admirer of Keane,Mcgregor is a bit mouthy but thats part of his job,and as someone said earlier he does fly the flag and would be nice to see him capture the title.. |

It's a show!!!
His career is going to be very short, so make as much and as quickly as possible. As soon as he's beaten the big money will dry up.
Remember Ali he was the exact same showman, a pleasure to watch and listen to, it's part of the show to be a character. Ali found out early how to put bums on seats.

Agree with hal Aldo will be out for blood and McGregor has not fought anything like that before.
In saying that Mcgregor has the technique to win it will be about does he believe his own hype.
I do like Mcgregor he is turning out to be a right little Vince Mcmann (WWF).
His fly on the wall documebtry series is very interesting hes well able to milk the system under the guise of Dana White. |

aldo is an animal. its going to be a very long night for conor. fair play to him for getting where he has as quick as he has and getting the nation on board with mma. im just happy we might get more shows. The wait from 2009 was far too long. |

UFC is all steroids anyway. If Mcgregor can gurantee a stadium fight in croke or aviva then he will win. It's as simple as that.
Aldo is obviously the better fighter, but end of the day he is a fighter in a business where everyone cheats, and everyone will take a big pay day over a win every single time.
If aldo was clever he could milk a big rematch payday out of it. From his point of view there is probably no one that can offer him as big a pay day, is there? |

As McGregor has previously said the roids slow you down when your in the ring they disable your ability to think on the fly. I have every confidence in McGregor, this will be the toughest fight of his life tho. |

I think he was trying to get into severs head saying that,you need to be mentally weak to take them
But they don't slow you down or affect your ability to think
