I met an ex through my friends gf at the time they hooked us up at the time it seemed great looking back on it? probably was a bad idea |

Or the other side of the coin where a guy tries to get an invite to a party insisting he can bring a couple of single girls (without said ladies knowing anything) thinking it will enhance his chances of an invite, was so funny when it done a whole 360 the ladies he using the names of attended minus him. |

I didnt realise it was frowned upon, and as such will not be doing it in the future.

I just think it puts people under pressure by asking them in the first place and much easier if chat themselves. Didn't know how common it was but your not the only culprit and thread put up to see if I was only one getting asked |

if you actually read what I asked you would see I didn't say (all) and it was a question for discussion and not a condemning single lads in particular either. I'm trying to figure out why some ask in the first place  Is that ok? |

I've been asked this once or twice by guys I'd said I wouldn't meet and to me it seems to smack of desperation.
Guys I've met and would keep in touch with and chat to often ask me about newer people and I'd do the same so I don't see anything wrong with saying you think another person is really hot  So maybe the guys you've previously met think they have a better relationship with you than you do and were just looking for some friendly help  |

I get it from a lot in both situations and I've no problem if they didn't know them at all saying if nice or not but some not all literally try to get me to fix them up instead of chatting to them themselves. |

i recall arranging a meet with a guy , all sorted , was looking forward to meeting him , and then ..... at the last minute ... he asked if he could bring another woman along  I said , if id wanted to feel like a spare fucking wheel , i wouldve told ya . meet denied . No idea what posessed him ... he was damn lucky i had even agreed to meet him ? and the cheek of imagining that id be into some other girl as well as him ? cheeky cnut ! |
