Tomorrow being Pancake Tuesday I was wondering what people like to put on theirs?

My favourite is banana, melted chocolate and nuts, I also like the more standard lemon juice and sugar etc

As I love experimenting ( ), anyone got any interesting topping ideas?....

Pesto, sundried tomato and creme cheese.

Spread a layer of cream cheese over the surface of the pancake with a palette knife. Sprinkle with pesto and some finely chopped sundried tomato.

Roll into a tight swiss roll.

Oh and when your tossing, be careful not to hit the ceiling.

Nothing to worry about, I made some over the weekend and whilst they're good fillers for a group, they can sometimes get a bit boring.

I think I'm going to make quesadillas tomorrow whilst I have the crêpe maker out. Parma ham, sundries tomatoes, red onion, cheddar cheese, olive oil and Ballymaloe jalapeño relish. nom nom nom

If there's a society that shoots people for not liking pancakes, I don't want to be a part of it!! A tad extreme perhaps

For savoury I like crepes with cream cheese (Philadelphia with chives usually) and ham or salmon.

But I'm really more of a sweet girl so it'll have to be nutella and vanilla ice cream

Lemon and sugar comes a close second though and a nice big mug o tea

I'm not pushed on them either but having a pancake with Nutella and banana is a lot classier than just dipping the banana straight into the jar of Nutella
