Don't worry too much about it, M, Valentines day used to be about one person sending another a card without signing it. Somewhere along the line, it's got commercialised so much so that people expect big presents and bunches of flowers! Everyday should be a day romantic day. "How true,these days some people ,strangers and randomers expect to be asked out for a night of dinner and entertainment,lavishness etc,without having any knowledge or experience of the other person.Why bother? Where is the depth of feeling and real emotion ? It has in that type of scenario become a frivolous pastiche and totally meaningless.You might as well just send an actor out in your place to play a hollow role.For some immature guys and girls it's just a night out so that when they meet people in work or in a social circle the week after and they ask ,"did you do anything for Valentines?" you can answer ,"oh yes I had a great night".Where is the value in that and the appreciation of a lover whom you have a heartfelt connection with ? | |||
