So I'm on the school run and Michael Bublé's it's a beautiful day comes on, which makes me smile... Then Cecilia by Simon & Garfunkel starts playing so I'm bopping away in my seat here... Much to the amusement of my 1yo lol.
So what songs lift you up and put a smile on your face? |

I prefer songs that hold memories rather than POP bopping around a room to.
I hate POP
The song should either get me emotional or get me ready for a match no in between |

"It be great if we could put 2gether a fab band for the meets and greets and social and have our own dj or something."
A dj is much less hassle...A fab band would implode from all the egos. That or every practice would turn into an orgy |

Mine are a bit of and eclectic mix!
Bruno Mars 'The way you are' just makes me smile and sing along!
Lovin the Andie Casie cover of 'me and my broken heart' by Rixton (not very uplifting I know but) it's a groovy wee version that gets me smiling and singing along!
My all time favourite tune that's bound to get me up off my ass at the minute and dance is Kid Rock's 'All summer long' reminds me of the best holiday ever in Turkey! And it just puts me in the mood for summer! |

I'm sorry I loved it too, I always sing the Banana bit at the top of my lungs when I hear it, gives it more of a feel good factor |

It was a toss up between Toots and Train to Rainbow City by the Liquidators "
You aren't limited to three songs lol |

Matias Aguayo - Minimal
Tongue in cheek, groovy song complaining about minimal music having no balls... and not being sexy, I bet you'll tap your feet to it.

Disclosure - You & Me feat. Eliza Doolittle (Flume Remix)
The last wlatz always gives me goosebumps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Yl9tgkEbTg
We were driving through the alps cycling through cds at night. The last waltz was the last song on one of the cds I made, forgot about it.
it came on and the driver turned off the lights in the car. It was just amazing, every turn in the winding road matched the song, snow covered forests, frozen waterfalls, pitch dark but could see everything clearly. Whenever I hear it I think of that perfect driving moment, th perfect road, the great friends I had. |
