I think the scene is buzzing recently. Especially with great folk like jackandnora down south who host party after party 
Here in the WEST we've all held our own in recent times thanks to PureHoney/galway4fun & Fastlad
In Limerick Party Monster & Foxie Roxie are putting in huge efforts also.
Sorry if I've left other main contributers out!
The parties/M&Gs are a FAB way for a lot to get started here 
We all bicker/slag/compliment/help each other here in "FAB IRELAND" but that's part & parcel I guess!
(imagine being a member of "FAB FAROE ISLANDS" NOW THAT WOULD BE TOUGH 
Basically, behind all the negativity we're a close knit likeable group

Yes, at the end of November, it was in Kilkenny!! Damien88 put up a thread about it but nothing was being done so I took over!!! And thank God I did as it was a good success!! |

I think Everyone does its hard to know a person though a profile and get to see what they really like and I don't mean by looks I mean personality. |

yes face to face is good as it can be hard to get your true personality out via a screen. and it helps that i look better in person as iv yet to find a truthful camera they are all lying bastards of you ask me lol |

Aww thanks DTG... its worth while when you see everyone enjoying themselves and having a great night and even hooking up and leaving together!!! Makes the weeks of effort and mails all worth while... |

I stay away from the socials m& g & parties.
I went to one and found the couple's only interested in other couples or the few single guys that were present. The single guys were not in my age bracket by a good 15 years.
I'm not interested in making fab friends just having a fab time so for me I' ll continue enjoying "fab" my way. |

My first 3 socials were DISASTROUS
2-3 years ago
-Dublin (some idiot kept shouting out my real name. He was thrown out I left shortly after. .. too messy)
-Limerick (The lady I attended with got too d*unk so I dropped her home after and drove back to Galway)
-Charleville (was asked to leave as someone spotted me walking in and they ran to smoking area turns out it was an ex teacher of mine) long drive back to Galway
Since then the socials I've attended have been great in last 6 months (they're all Galway though ) |

It's cool that people can get on so well face to face at parties, but I am not a fan of them.
I prefer smaller meets, getting to know someone pretty well, that kind of thing. |
