Managed to complete the first one, not my cup of tea for so many reasons. Will probably pop along to the film at some point (after the initial rush) and see if the film improves it or if christian is an overprotective tool in the film too...
At least it's got people talking about 'non standard', 'non just missionary' sex (for want of a better term). Must try to push it into conversations when talking to civie women over the next while and see where it gets me / what interesting conversations I can have  |

Even though the OP only asked for guys opinions I'd like to give mine here as well. The book is shite couldnt read past 1/3 of it. Badly written and just so not interesting, too obvious maybe. But its out for years now so OP best read it yourself and form your own OPinion! I do want to see the movie though as I'm curious by nature lol |

Apparently the film is very tame after all that. How pointless, typical Hollywood.

haha... I read few reviews and they were very bad. In one of them they reviewer said that the public laughed at one comment passed by the main female character about Mr Grey as it was simply silly (it was something about her understanding his behaviour and her feeling she can fix him...). |
