It's very frustrating but only if you allow it!!!
Calmly walk over ask them are the finished chatting that you need to get back to work give them a little grin and they will let you work in with them, I do it all the time only once did a group tell me to beat it in a condescending we are better than you tone which resulted in them apologising to me after a little whisper in their ear 
You pay same membership as them u use what you like |

Try being a woman trying to get in between the guys to use the bench press. Or being a woman using a bench and men taking it when youre changing weights.
Find your balls and tell them to move.
