"Is it just us, or are we being unfair, by saying that the majority of these "single guys" who can't accommodate are married/attached? Have we just been really unlucky so far? When I was single, and my mates, we could always accommodate. We just said to our flat/house mates. "Need the place free Saturday night" Are we being naive? " No you are not, just realistic. What you say about being a single person in a house share has always been correct for everyone we know. There was an unwritten code to vacate the house if one of the gang needed to entertain.

"I would be of the same opinion as the op but I too accept there can be the odd exception.. My pet hate though is the profiles with can accommodate on them and it infact turns out to be the opposite and they are married or attached but thought if they chatted for a while etc that it wouldn't make a difference when they told you down the road.... Lies after chatting to someone for a while is the worst.... For me it's an instant block" Totally agree with op and kitty

"Do you question all the "single" women on here too?? As already said, there are a.million reasons why people can't/won't accommodate, a partner at home is just one And for those who think that living with the mammy is something to be slagged over, grow up " Ireland is experiencing a seismic shift in family living arrangements as record numbers of people in their 20s and 30s opt against flying the nest. Approximately 23pc of Irish adults aged 25 to 34 still live with their parents, according to Eurostat. Almost 440,000 people aged 18 or over now live at their parental home, according to the latest census figures. Every woman and every couple on the site are perfectly normal perfectly behaved and perfectly safe. It's only the boys we need protection for. ...." Completely agree with that... And also my ex husband is now back living with his parents since we split and our house is rented out so there are some genuine reasons I guess? Nit that my ex is a swinger!! That I know of?? Lol...
"Different for the likes of me now as a student. My landlords daughter lives here. Can't tell her to get out some night. And also a few nurses live here too! They are all girls and there's five of them, one of me. News travels fast with them too! That's part of the reason, but I'm usually always willing to pay for a hotel! " So anyway, tell me more about these five women you live with? Single?....

" I dont mean all women, just that a lot of women are living in apartments because they were given one for having a kid, and if that didnt happen a lot more 30 year ol women would still be at home. "Have you got something to back this up or are you just pulling figures out of your head unbelievable More like pulled out of his arse I'll definitely agree with this " Yeah, 90,000 women are getting assistance, which is a little under half of all single women with kids. So half are paying their own way. 13,000 single mothers in the tallaght area, and 52,000 in Dublin. Some apartment blocks have up to 40% occupancy from people getting rent allowance. So if those 90 thousand had to pay their own way, obviously they would be back at home?

"..now..nosafe..you are either the font of all knowledge....or very very good at poker.. " There are libraries full of books, full of knowledge that I don't have a clue about. It can just seem like I know more than I do because I keep quiet when Im not sure whats going on.
"So on what website is this on or what statistics site? Just so I can read it for myself " It's on onefamily.ie they will have all the facts and figures, and tell you how many single parent families there are in the area etc, along with other good resources.

"Naive plus what is it with people on here making judgements about people who are here without their partners permission.. It a sex site, have sex drive on " Excuse me, I never made a judgement. I asked a question. We couldn't care less if you are with someone or not. I refer to my earlier stance, as long as everyone knows where they stand. Don't jump on your high horse without fully reading what I said.
"haha... oh dear... Poor us, single guys, we just cannot please everybody within the lifestyle, don't we? Whatever we say or do, may and will be held against us. Different thing for single ladies and couples. They are always OK thankfully... I have an impression that as a starter, we are being seen as fucking cheaters that for sure have a girl and that poor thing (surely, she's the sweetest lady ever) has no idea that we (fecking bastards) cheat on her... Oh dear God... I think, you lovely ladies and couples owe it to the world to find her out and let her know what I am doing here. Just do me a favour please, once you find her, please let me know who she is, as I have been looking for her for a while now and would be happy to finally meet her. lol I mind not to accommodate a single lady, however I will very, very rarely accommodate couples, as I haven't told my housemates about my sexual life. I have absolutely no intention to kick them out for several hours, as I have a meet, as this would be rude in my opinion towards the people I share with. Maybe the OP is referring to his studying days and yes, I would imagine all bros to be delighted for one of them to get laid, so they would happily go to a pub for one pint and return home after. However, if you work life gets a little more complicated and it is not OK to expect housemates to plan their lives around mine. What am I saying, sure thing I have a girlfriend, wife and a mistress too, we all live together with my 8 kids, so the real reason why I do not accommodate is that they cannot find out that I have sex outside of our foursome, as this would surely end our amazing arrangement. hahaha " Please read what I said, and not comment on what you seen. Again I did not say all nor newbies for starters. I stated the reason I did not mention single girls. (Read the full thread) If we want to accommodate we have to jump through hoops to get our house free. Our choice I know. It is also your choice to not go to the hassle to organise a free house.

Cool. My comment is more general and related to how single guys are treated and seen within the lifestyle by many. In this country, people just cannot refrain from writing more chapters to the story they have been told. That is what annoys me tbh. Throwing all to one bag and making too far going generalisation. It happens a lot in here... and not only within the lifestyle. I'd say, people would benefit from relaxing a bit and just enjoying the ride... haha

"This is a rather bizarre thread. If I fancy a guy and he cannot accommodate, there are other ways to meet. I would never take for granted that anyone could/should have to accommodate at his/her/their own place. As we all have our own reasons for being on here, there are different reasons for not being able to accommodate. Also who has never lied on this site or his/her profile, let him/her cast the first stone. " Again another not reading the thread and only commenting on what you think you saw. Never once was it stated that it was "taken for granted" A question was asked, not a fact stated. Of course we all have our reasons. I state again, once everyone knows where they stand.
"Some guys are single dads" Some couples have kids. What's the difference? Just asking not being rude with you, just unsure of your point.

" I think you just need to respect that not all people want to accommodate even if they can, wether they are single or not it's their choice so leave it at that! Personally Id be more offended if someone would expect me to meet them at their home whilst their partner/ spouse wasn't there, irrelevant of wether they know or not that they are on a site such as this.

There's a lot of profile that pass remarks on people in relationships. Whether the partner knows or doesn't it's still cheating in a consensual sense.
