"I thought american sniper was crap! Think I'm the only one, everyone else thought it was great "
Haven't seen it but do you just see a trailer and think ' no I won't be watching that'. Well this is one of them.
Two films big last year American hustle and Dallas buyers club the same. Tried to but don't think I watched half hour of each.

I enjoyed Dallas buyers club but didn't rate american hustle at all.
I watched an off beat film called "this is where I leave you" with jason Bateman and Tina fey, I enjoyed that |

Absolutely not !! I honestly think it's one of the worst films I have ever had the misfortune to watch.
Brazenly racist and devoid of any empathy for the Iraqi people. Seth rogan said it was like watching the "movie within a movie" in Inglorious Bastards and he was spot on.

Still could have shown the human side of the Iraqi people instead of labelling them all "savages". But even apart from the lack of morality in the movie I still didn't enjoy it.
But hey the world would be a more boring place if we all agreed on things wouldn't it ?

Couldn't find it on down load so haven't watched it yet but the trailers look great! |

I'm sure 99.9999999% of folk in his position would have done the same !

American sniper was total shite. And bradley cooper was atrocious in it. worst actng iv seen in looonng time. And fat. Chris kyle wasn't even fat. It was made for the dumb conservative american market and doesn't try hide it. Shockin stuff

the evil Iraqi woman at the very start who callously sent a child out with a tank grenade? Never happened. Added for entertainment - cos hey, who doesn't like to see children shot dead for entertainment?
The Iraqi who uses a drill to torture children ? Fiction.
He never had his "wet dream" sniper battles with Mustafa either but hey don't let lies get in the way of "a true story"...
His psychopathic tendencies just weighed a little heavily on me especially given that we are coming out of a period on this island when some were conditioned to believe the "other side" were sub human...

The guy that wrote American Sniper also claimed to have knocked out Jesse Ventura (ex navy seal) Lawsuits ensue.
It's frowned upon by the Navy seals for any of their members to write about their actions/tactics etc.. |

Kyle also claimed in his book he shot and killed 2 guys trying to steal his truck and him and a buddy loaded up and went to new orleans after katerina and killed 30 looters. all proved lies. Thankfully. Makes you question anything he claimed |

Imitation game was brilliant but I haven't watched all that many films recently. I'm desperate to see the hobbit but I dong think it's in the cinema any more 
Loved band of Brothers for the TV (one of my all time favourites but I love WW2 history). |

Very disappointed with bird man. Thought I would love it from reading reviews.just didn't work. Nothing original in shooting in 1 continuous shot. Hitchcock done it 60 years ago and others done since. And better
Peaky blinders looking good on tv. True detective was great too.

John Wick - great action flick.
The Guest - great thriller film.
Kill the Messenger - a good film about a true story that still holds power today.
Nightcrawler - good film worth a watch
What we do in the shadows - my type of comedy film
