yep i did iv done 2 degrees as a mature student did u have to do a MSAP test?
no i never had to to one of those are they new ?" for certain courses in certain colleges mature students have to do them |

It's in UCC for a lot of courses I know that! I'm trying to go study in a diff area and applied to 3 seperate courses and the ucc one u have to do the MSAP exam |

It is wild the prices i was quoted.... "
I'm starting back in sept and it's roughly €1400 per year! Absolute madness but has to be done, Im looking forward to getting back into studying after taking the last two years off |

I studied in ucc as mature student and didn't have to do anything like that |

Did both as a younger and older student - it seemed much easier the older I got - certainly got higher results as a mature student -
Not as distracted I suppose - as a young guy , degrees were a poor second behind trying to get laid - so what's new. |

Yeah - Finished one in 2008.... As some have said it's easier the second time round but do not underestimate the amount of hours/work still required to get good marks. Probably with age and maturity cums.... sorry comes better time/work management.

For anyone thinking of going back and is worried about the "bright young ones " , it's actually the mature students who challenge the lecturers most. The younger ones just accept whatever they are told.
You learn a lot by just living -
