Hi Im curious after chatting to some frustrated new men here how long was it between setting up your profile and meeting someone for the first time, for coffee or other?
I know single girls are different but I joined as I was going stir crazy and met quickly. I wish I had waited longer now and gotten the lay of the land first. |

i find it hard,, and im totally genuine and im a easy goin lad i take no as no and dont hound people with mails etc,,, suppose its just playing the waiting game now n hopefully i get the chance eventually and build from there,, part of the fun i suppose?! |

We rushed our first meet too. Wish we had of taken more time. We joined as complete newbies to the swing world and met 3 weeks later.
We don't regret the profile we chose and the night was incredible but we probably would have approached bit differently Bharat we of been more wiser. |

I joined on a Tuesday and had a coffee meet the Thursday, luckily it was with a lovely lad but I really wish I had of taken my time when it came to actual meets but I was like a kid in a candy shop |

When I originally joined it was about 8 weeks before I met someone. Glad I took my time as I ended up having a really good first-meet experience.

When i started a few yrs ago on another site, first meet was about 2 months after i joined. And that was after a lot of mails to the female before we met. |

Hi I joined fabswingers over Xmas not met anybody yet but have chatted to some lovely people have sent and got a few replies and had no replies also but it a bit of fun trying to find ur way.. I presume once you get verification it will be a bit easier... |

When I started it took a little while I had a verification from a cpl friends of mine but that was all! I think unfortunately for single males the choice is huge for women and couple so it's very difficult to get noticed. Also lots of bad apples around that spoil it for the good singles around |

Had a Twitter meet, found out about fabs, then probably waited 2 months until we got the lay of the land. He got a membership & we met regularly until he left the country. |

Joined and within a week we went to our first party had never even met a cpl for a drink lol...had the best time of our life....but I think we were very lucky in our hosts they were experienced party hosts so they knew just what to say and do to put a cpl of newbies at ease |

I rushed into my first meet here, big mistake, he was a rude moron when we met even though he was ok in mails. I learned a lesson, ever since ive been more cautious. |

It was about 2 months before I had a meet. It was well worth the wait and the best possible start to say the least. The downside was all the abusive mail I got cause I didn't have that pesky green tick. I was called a fake, a man, a total bitch etc. Meh!  The rest they say is sexy history  |

Was here as half of a couple first, and when I rejoined as a single I got verified quickly from previous meets. I then had a meet within a few weeks. Spent the rest of the time building up a good rep and after a few months I was getting regular meets and invites. |

Pushing 7 months now 
Started off real slow - threw out a few messages and received only a handful back, was gonna give up until I spoke to a gent who gave me some pointers, which I think the best has to be
Be honest in what you want and say
Be active on forums and
Be polite, funny and cheeky if it calls for it
So any guys having trouble, it can't hurt to implement the above
