These new xbmc boxes that everybody on my facebook is buying so they can stream movies and sports via internet has anybody got any dealings with them or own one are they any good |

I love mine.. every series imaginable and all up to date aswel and all new movies straight away. Even while still in the cinema they are on then box here. They are great. |

Got the app off a pc so no need for the box no TV licence needed either got the letter off them to prove

Got the app off a pc so no need for the box no TV licence needed either got the letter off them to prove

I have been using xbmc for ages, on the pc but my fave source, Mashup, was removed in November. Haven't spent the time to see what's out there, to replace it.. |

so how do they compare to watch32.com or vooz.com where you get a huge selection of movies for free over the internet.?
the frustration with these two is that lots of pop up ads occur and I just make sure my antiviros software is up to date to be safe, but you just keep deleting the ads and new tabs which open till you find what you want to watch and your movie starts. I think the watch32 breaks movies into sections to avoid licensing issues. Only other drawback is that sometimes the movie available is a poor copy of someone filming it in a cinema, but mostly they are good and you see the new releases often before they open up here locally.

You have to download the app tru a google search not tru the app store so just search showbox and you will find download instructions there

It was down over Xmas but Icefilms is back up and running again. Loads of great films added over the last week. |

firstly yes if your on some mobile broadband package forget it .
I have been running XMBC for the last two years on a Linux pc .
Its great with Navi x plugin you can get Sky Sports 99% of the time .
You don't need a dedicated box if you have a laptop thats running Windows 7 or 8 Xbmc will work just fine on that as long as you have good broadband connection just add Navi X google it loads of videos on You Tube as to how to install

Try raspbmc. There is an installer on the website that you can put on the sdcard and its really easy to install and use. |

Just be careful on who your getting it from as the XBMC is currently outdated with a new product called Kody. Both are the same and I've both and the person I get mine off knows what's he's doing. If you need any advice pm me and I'll do my best to find out the answers for you. Currently the best Addon to us is Phenoix or Navi x and Genisis. |

Don't think it can. Never heard of it being done through them. It's not legal but no one ever has ever been done in anyway for streaming things. Which these boxes do. |

Xbmc (new name Kodi) is perfectly legal. These plugins are also legal. Using them to watch copyrighted content without authorisation is copyright infringement. |

Found a one stop shop for all things Kodi, google tvaddons. It's the one that ends in ag, incase they are nasty sites about.
Got their version running on my PC. Also got "Yatze" running on my phone, it's a remote control. Can just lay in bed and binge watch stuff 
Also on that site, they have a version that runs on Android, so watching things at college over their wifi  |
