Not been here long, but Jesus Christ all this meet verification, picture verification stuff. Someone should get a handle on the amount of woman saying they're curvy in here when they are actually overweight, curvy is not fat. Nothing wrong with being overweight if that's what your into, but call a spade a spade. Head wrecker!!!!! |

Curves are arse and tits so unless there is implants there must be fat so that there are curves.
Maybe you should google what curvy means now a days rather than back in Victorian times, or put on your page on top of all the other things you are looking for is a stick boy shape with flat chest. |

Don't disagree with you. I've put down ample because there is more than enough of me lol. I've curves but I'm not curvy because I know I'm overweight but fuck it, I know I can change it 
And if people can see a body shape from pics the description doesn't really matter |

Being athletic is having natural physical ability. Being an athlete is participating in athletics. There are many people who are extremely athletic, but are not athletes because they do not take advantage of their abilities. |

You are dead right Lucas...lots of people I know here told me that Curvy, Large etc is another way of saying ( fill in the blanks ) ! There is more of that on here than normal figures...I was overweight one time and did something about it, so it can be done and I ain't going to meet bbw's etc and genuflect to them sort of speak. I aim to meet fab's not flab's ! |

Lol fair enough. Apologies though because we are getting used to people posting controversial topics deliberately to get a reaction from users of the forum. Since that wasnt ur intention, yes u have hit a nerve because as one person has pointed out, everyones opinion on body shape and type differs. And people dont always identify with the most common perception of a particular bodytype description.
Until the day comes when we are issued with a strict scale by which to measure our body type and categorise ourselves, it is all very open to interpretation, personal image, and preference. My advise my friend, look at the pictures and make up ur own mind as to whether a lady is to ur tastes or not. And if that fails meet her for a coffee, best way to come to a decision on all counts. |

Size is all about perception and everyone's is different, if sites like fab had to categorise every type body shape the list would go on and on, people who play football or rugby could call themselves atheletic but then based on your description they wouldn't be to be atheletic you would have to look like Mo farrah or linford Christie or daily Thompson or Fatima Whitbread and all of those people have different body shapes.
So yes you can be a curvy size 6 or 16 even if your carrying a little more weight or as you put it fat. |

Why is it when some women take offence to the label discussion especially when it comes to the curvy/ample/overweight discussion that at some point a reference will be made by a woman to stick/skinny/flat/boney women? Surely this is disputing a stance by adopting the same stance. Please note I said some women, but why attack any woman's form to refute what a man has said here.

Why fret about it? Its not like there are 1000s of women her from which YOU can make 'a choice'. Single fem (and indeed couples for males) profiles could well be totally without any information and they'd still be as busy as they wanted to be.

If a woman puts on her profile that she's looking for young fit athletic men who are well hung, and isn't interested in veering from that 'standard', she's choosy, picky and knows what she wants. I usually wouldn't agree with you lol but in this case I think you are spot on physical attractions is important at first impressions go at the end of the day you hardly expect someone to like you for who you are if you just met them they don't know you!

I personally can't tell from a PIC if I will be attracted to someone enough to have sex with them or not... the PIC only gives a guide line to if its a possibility that I will want to have sex...real attraction is so much more..Mrs Davie t |

The OP could have expressed his feelings about fat people a bit more nicely, but at the end of the day, everyone has their preferences. Just because he doesn't fancy overweight women, doesn't mean he's shallow. It also doesn't mean he likes 'stick figures' as some said.
But I think the point of his post is that people are not being truthful about their physical appearance. Well, a lot of people are not being truthful about a lot of things. It comes with the internet.
OP, just look at the pics and don't get all annoyed about it. You may think a woman size 18 or 20 is not curvy but in her eyes she may be. It's all down to interpretation.

Hun I've met men here that if I met in a pub I wouldn't go next not near. But I've been drawn to their banter their experience the attraction has been elsewhere not just physical with me that's why I find it shallow boxing people into body shape types. There can be athletic skinny people that have faces like bulldogs but that's not a type on here either. I'm not argueing that there shouldn't be larger variance but I really do find it all pretty shallow. |

Im 6ft2 nicely built i keep myself in good shape but dont have massive muscles but i would still call myself athelic.I was once told on here i wasnt tall enough due to my height i often wonder was the lady looking for jolly green giant or something. |

Myself and himself actually had this discussion a few days ago and we both agree that firstly there are only a few categories in the list unless you want them to add over weight, obese, morbidly obese? But being a bbw I can honestly say that I would never check those boxes because it's a bit insulting and also every body's idea of these are differnt. And if we are going that far we might as well go the whole hog and have categories for how big a guys micky is starting with micro right up to horse size! I can guess that no one would ever click micro!

I agree with previous posts here in that everyone has different opinions on size, be it about being curvey or cock size. Same goes for attractiveness, what other women find attractive maybe I wouldn't and vice versa. For me, it is all about sexual attraction. Has anyone else read this thread and thought about what happens before and after the deed? Men/Women of all shapes and sizes can have a good time, just because your body definition isn't what the shallow perceive to be perfect doesn't mean you aren't beautiful and can't be a sexy fucker!!! Different people are turned on by different things, thats what makes the world go round and makes certain people connect more with some more than they would with others.
