Then you consider the albums, you had thriller, appetite for destruction, purple rain, day dream nation, disintegration, slippery when wet, music for the masses and licensed to I'll to name but a few
The production of the likes of the G'nR album was quite intricate and out there.when you take rocket queen for example with the recording of axle rose having sex with a band mates woman being heard in the track. Things were experimental.
You had Blondie who was Madonna before we even had Madonna. Robert smith out of the cure with that lipstick..rick Rubin in his prime for rap, new order was cultivated.
Oh and guys bare in mind my age lol! But I am a music student. Lol
