Every time I come home I see new building projects that means more trade men are getting back to work. 2015 will be a good year for the country.

Is it time for Irish families to come home or should they stay abroad?

I work with an awful lot of trades men (sparks carpenters etc) they said it has picked up a little but is nothing like during the bubble. It never will be and hopefully someone in the government has the cop on that to not let another bubble regarding housing to develop and expand us into areas that have been neglected in the last twenty years

what about all these empty ghost estates wouldnt it not be a good idea if the government let the local councils buy these empty houses back of the banks it mite sort out the housin problem intead of building new ones then hire tradesmen who are unemployed to keep them maintained.

I agree with everyone on this but will we have enough trade's people to keep up with demand most of the younger generation in the past 5 years probably haven't been learning trade's.
