"Gotta be the iPhone, there is not better phone on the market......"
In my opinion there are a lot of better phones on the markets. Mostly the ones that don't bend out of shape. |

Performance benchmarks between iOS and Android devices are never favourable for Apple. The one place they used to always stand apart was the user experience but Android has that nailed now too. Android phones far better equipped where hardware is concerned. |

With the exception of googles nexus range, all other android phones feel bloated with vendor mods and skins. Additionally with the exception of a few of the high end units all other devices invaribly have a poor tactile experience, apple stokes a good balance and ultimately provides the best ux (imho) |

Having always been an apple man i made the move a few years ago and the offerring Android (Samsung, HTC, LG and Sony) have all been much superior in experience, wearability and functionality. In my opinion |

The Moto G is a good phone, moved from the nexus line to it and haven't regretted it.
Not the most high end specs but still plenty fast, its a perfect size for one handed use, nano coated so its water resistant, it gets updates almost as soon as the nexus range due to the google takeover of motorola and I get at least a day from a charge, including internet and game playing.
You should get the official flip cover for it too though, it makes a noticeable difference. |

"Sony Z3 Waterproof and 24MP camera. Swing proof right there if you ask me"
Think I'll go with this one
The HTC 1 doesn't seem to have the best camera. |

I'm not so sure that the difference in the cameras will be that obvious in reality. The s5 takes great pics. |

I like that in theory but I'm not sure I'd trust it enough to use it under water. The s5 is sort of waterproof, maybe splash proof but I think it's a bit more than that, and theoretically dust proof. Imagine my horror then yesterday when I popped off the back cover and marvelled at all the lovely dust in there! |

Lol! I wouldn't be trusting it in a shower then. The kids kept telling me to try it but I was the same until they sneaked it into the sea, THE SEA! & showed me. |

"Sony's are great z3 is the best one yet. Unreal quality for photos and videos only downside is its all glass and can get very slippy if hands are wet "
The matte screen covers front & rear help with that, I have a tiny clear plastic cover that covers the back, sides & corners which does make it easier to hold. |

To each their own. I need phone that I can use with my work. I need it to interface with multiple devices flawlessly. The HTC is ideal for this. Most pro reviews rate it as number one. I suppose for casual use other phones may be better. |

"HTC One M8 all the way.
Generally accepted as the best at the moment closley by LG G3 and then probably the iphone 6 personally I have the Galaxy s5"
For feel in the hand the m8 consistently outshines most others. Not in terms of specifications though. The s5 is superior to it except for the fact that it feels a bit cheaper. |

"Nokia 6310 great phone
Last month I put a suit on I last wore at a wedding in 2005 and found a Nokia 6310i inside a pocket. It's still got 2 bars of battery on it. "

Due to being a nerd and making a good living at it I have actually with one of my colleagues
tested these two. Hardware wise similar. We found while the Samsung processor is clocked higher it doesn't seem to help it in fact caused lag through some sort of cascading problem when loaded. Samsung in general electronic terms seem to be a bit ahead of competition but at component level have always been inferior. I would like to test the LG though. Have not heard one bad report on it so far. I'm just not confident with anything Samsung through having repaired their tvs etc in past. |

Own an S5, it's a lovely phone with a great camera, but it's never blown me away. After only having it six months I'm in the mood for a change. I lasted longer with sony's. Had a Z as my last phone and loved it. the entire Z range are great phones, and sony probably fuck with android the least out of all the brands.
And the Z's are truely waterproof. not long after getting mine, i threw it into a pint....on purpose, to test it. then ran it under the tap as it was sticky....not a bother on it. it got thrown in a bowl of water a few times to, when mates didnt believe me. Convinced a friend to get a Z3 compact recently and he loves it. |

I'm a self confessed phone nerd and own a HTC one m8. Simple great phone. I've had Samsung phones and although they have many features I never used half of them. The m8 is practical all the features are handy and speakers in the front of a phone just make sense.
I've converted 3 friends into buying this phone and they live it too.
But it all boils down to what you want from a phone.
