Did you know it's not advisable to take a shower during a thunder storm cause if the lightening strickes the waterworks ,the shock can travel for miles up the pipeline and u could possibly get elecrocuted  |

Lighting up the dogging green
A flash, an ass, a clap of thunder
Who's that mooning there I wondered
Could barely hear the moaning tune
His trousers down what's he doin'
There's a girl across the bonnet
Her bum exposed , a hand print onit
It's dark apart from a few head lights
Like a discos on a silent night
Theres windows open and doors ajar
Suspensions testing in each car
They seem to be havin a Fab old time

I absolutely love lightning and thunder. As for being safe in cars etc, I'm not so sure. I recall a church in County Cavan that I used to pass twice a week during the eighties. It had a steeple at one end with a steel cross and a lightning conductor that rose up from it. One evening in the late eighties the low end of the church was destroyed by lightning with a chunk of the end wall being demolished and the roof set on fire. So much for the theory of lightning conductors and lightning striking the highest point. |
