First off if u intend on having the person stay over a tripple room may be handy but if ur meet is not a double should do after all they are only visiting u
Its always handy having a spare bed even if its only some one visiting |

Most hotels seem to turn a blind eye so long as you're not making too much noise and interfering with other guests.
However if you are planning a gathering where the volume will (hopefully) be turned way up.....some hotels have apartments away from the main building. The rooms are usually around the same price, but there are no prying eyes or ears at reception.
In fact there's one in west dublin where if you hang around long enough you'll meet half of fab on a good night! |

"Just a room fir you two and bring who you like iv stayed in rooms with upwards if ten people, pity they weren't swingers " were just curious because any hotel we stayed in we always had to walk past reception, we were just wondering if they would stop us and say something.

Once you've booked the hotel room you are the legal owner of that space for the prescribed time and as long as you are breaking no law, you can take anyone you want to up to your room as if it was your own house. Don't you worry, hotels know that half their rooms are for meets. You will get into trouble if you're caught doing drugs or with an underage person...otherwise keep calm and carry on! Hope this helps. |

If you do your homework there are lots of hotels with access to the bedrooms that's not on top of the reception desk.
Just look like your ment to be there and no one will look at you.
Airport hotels always have so many coming and going at different times of the day and night so are worth considering and some of them do day only bookings.
Other hotels have access from carpark once you have your room key which is also worth considering.
And the apartment rentals like others have suggested are a good idea if there are a few of you and it's likely to get a little lould at times.
Once you not driving others around you mad you will be grand.
And bottom line is enjoy it..
