I'm pretty sure Tinder has a reputation as a "get the ride" app, not a relationship one. lol

Spotted a football friend's sister on there. She's married to another football friend of mine. Silence is golden. I did swipe right, but alas not a match, so moral dilemma avoided. Sort of lol

Tinder is mainly for dating and it uses Facebook, but doesn't post to Facebook and it shows you if the person is a friend of one of your Facebook friend

"how does it work? what is a match?"

I'm on it too!

It uses your Facebook to create an account, but doesn't post anything on there, just uses your likes or interests.

If two people like each other then it'll allow you both to chat..

I know guys on tinder , lovoo and Pof . They say they have a higher success rate for sexual encounters . And the ladies all think they are in a relationship with these guys . Remember they are all hook up sites . Not relationship sites . Have fun and stay safe .

My 19 yo is on Tinder so I stay well away from it! How does it work? You get matched up through preferences or pics?

It's not like you can just messege someone you need to connect with someone before you can say hi (both say yes on each other) which can be very slow sometimes

As a non-facebooker I can't use it. I wonder if it's part owned by FB?
