Don't light the fire much tend to just flick the switch for the heating.....but just love a turf fire love the smell got a pressie of 2 bags last week unusual gift I know ....don't ask

Lit our fire for the first today and the bloody dogs been hogging the heat ever since .Pulled the sofa rite up and and gonna lie here until bed time and eat choc and drink tea

Hard to beat a real fire, but you gotta be careful if you're getting frisky in front of a real fire...it may not be Halloween but you could end up with roasted nuts

Its all oil heating here for many years. . . . But its hard to beat an open fire with turf and wood . . .

We have central heating so it's not a necessity to light the fire
