Saw a documentary about a deaf couple in their eighties who got implants and could hear for the first time
she loved her new world and he couldn't handle it, turned it off and they grew apart,was very sad

Did you read the RTE News story about the expectant mother who crashed during labour on her way to hospital?

I cried watching the news yesterday at that story. The woman who helped her is a hero and you could see how affected she was. It was heart warming. That woman and her baby are so unbelievably lucky |
