I have had 3 serious relationships in my life and each one has had an 'our song'. I was just listening to Larry Gogan's Golden Oldies Hour on the radio and he played all 3 of my 'our song's' which is kind of freaky...but in a good way lol.
The songs in order of my relationships were (and I make no apologies for the choices!! ):
The Power of Love - Jennifer Rush
No Matter What They Say - Boyzone
I Feet It In My Fingers - Wet Wet Wet (though this was replaced by 500 Miles - The Proclaimers)
Anyway hearing these songs and remembering those times in my life got me thinking if people have such a thing as 'our song' anymore and if you do or did what are they and what kind of memories do they bring back.
For me hearing those songs takes me back to when I was quite innocent and naive, the world and I were full of possibilities ...and looking back today I know life can be tough but it's still wonderful and that an attitude of gratitude is powerful.
Happy Sunday to all my Fab friends x x |

It's not sad, I think everyone has a personal life sound track

"My ex and I had lots of songs with great memories attached. Before he turned into a prick that is. "
I had an ex that would have lots of songs for every mood it was great but not so much now when you hear a few of them daily even now lol |

"Never making this mistake again after the last relationship I was in.
Too many amazing songs perfectly ruined "
Aww that's sad to read Lady Stardust.... Hopefully the passage of time allows the bad memory you associate with these songs to dissipate and the reason you found the songs amazing in the first place returns x |

I'm not really the type to have a song with someone.
I did move in with a girl after playing Maps by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. When I hear it I sometimes think of that time and place and her.
Other than that no, I don't normally like the same music as people I date.
If I could pick a song for the next girl I date it would be Young Galaxy - Pretty Boy |

"Also I would love love to have better man by Paolo Nutini as my song (if you can choose lol) has anyone heard it?? It makes me swoon "
Love it, I'm a huge Paolo fan, although his song One Day gives me goosebumps.
I brought Hal Caustic Love on our first date so I guess that's our album |
