Heard about a person who has a fear of milk today....... Thought that was just for Adrian Monk, never realised it was a real thing 
So now I'm curious... any of my fellow fabbers have any or know of any strange phobias?!?

This is very true!! Have a few friends with some phobias that literally leave them frozen with fear, and that's tough.
I understand how very real phobias are, hope I didn't come across like I was making light of it.

I have a minor fear of climbing walls, but thankfully all my friends here are helping me get over it.
My major fear is being irrationally scared of environments like shopping centres and big sprawling complex buildings, especially if they are confusing and hard to navigate.

Mice and rats freak me out.
So imagine my delight when In college we had to do behavioural experiments using mice, loads of mice! We had to pick them up from their cages by hand to transfer them to the experiment area and return them back to the cages afterwards.
I paid the other student, a girl, to do all the mouse lifting and moving. Everything was great until one bit her and she had to go to A&E, leaving a freaked out me with dozens of now blood thirsty mice to put away.
Things were bad enough for me as I carried on handling the horrible things. But everything went to shit when one wee fecker made a dash for it up arm onto my head.
Later I had some explaining to do when I returned the mice to the lab guy with one very flat and very dead mouse among them. |

I always had a thing about weird rashes or bumpy potatoes, some proper sea sponges or, the back of one of my favourite chocolate bar (the newish malteasers bar is all lumpy EUGH) can't look at it! Seen a link on FriendFace one day with a lotus flower seed thing photoshopped onto someones body and it gave me the same feeling, I freaked out, turns out its trypophobia! Awwww jesus I just can't explain the feeling I get but it's horrible!!!!

I'm petrified of clowns, scary the shit out of me!! They are ALL just creepy!!!
Cant swim so deep water is not good..as long as my feet can touch the floor in great, any deeper and I will trail kids and old people to get to land lol
