Soo apparently I'm being circumcised the beginning of next month, and I'm honestly shitting myself, anyone have any experience with this? Was it very painful after and for how long / was It worth it in the end sensation wise?

Someone close to me had this procedure in the last 12 months, I can assure you, you will not feel any thing on the day after surgery. Your anaesthetist will apply a block and trust me when I tell you the block works 100%. allow for the next 2 days to be somewhere there is a bath, just to allow the healing to be kept clean. You will be surprised how quickly the healing will be, go in strong and prepared and come out strong. I don't have the time I'd like to write more to you now but I will send you a PM later. But don't worry about it, think about the benefits after, by Christmas it will all be in the past.  |

Its not so much the sex, but more the erection than might cause discomfort during healing, that said you can't control them in your sleep, so don't worry too much about it, best to wait 4 -6 weeks before intercourse. You don't want the wound reopening and you need to do everything possible to avoid an infection post op. |

I had it done when I was about 6 years old for the same reasons it was too tight! I can still remember it but not for any bad reasons. Of course it is a bit sore and tender but only to be expected ! Nothing that debilitates you though. They put dissolvable stitches in so you just have to have salt water baths for about a week and then should be well on the way to healing. As for the sex question I was 6 so that didn't come into it so can't help you out there sorry mate. |

See... this is why I wanted the doc to sort out my son now.... so he doesn't have to go through it as an adult. But they are refusing, giving creams instead. I know it won't work and the poor thing will end up in awkward situations when he's older
