Anyone else have an interested in board gaming? I play a few like catan, race for the galaxy and pandemic but struggle to get a regular play group.
What do people play regularly? Anything you are looking forward too? For me it's the mtg strategy game. |

I invented a board game (NO JOKE)
Started off on the back of a Corn Flakes box,my kids and I drew squares (88)
Coloured some red/some green
Green=Good
Red=Bad
They'd have to let's say hug everyone if green
They'd have to let's say put toys away if red
**got to a stage where id lots of tasks written out depending on colour**
EVENTUALLY DEVELOPED INTO AN ADULT VERSION (not sex)
I've hosted lots of Game nights via Facebook friends/friends of friends etc...
Everyone puts in a tenner. winner gets all the money. .. if you don't fulfil a task you go back to the start each time...
Some tasks are mental ie:
• go outside and tap the pole 500 times in this order
Head
Left Knee
Right Knee
Head
Left Knee
Right Knee and so on
•Swap clothes with person on your left
ETC
its actually on a proper board now and all with pieces etc...
Just need a market and patent.

The gate keeper and then the girl who turns ugly at the end made u call her maya coopa ann or somethin lol |

I have a copy somewhere, it had the crypt keeper (? ) who got more decrepit as the game progressed and made you do things throughout. I think there was a countess bathory one and a mummy one also. |

"I've never played catan but want to. Played risk a few times which is good craic."
It worth a go. Risk for me always failed in the time taken vs fun had scale, at some point people are dead on the bored but still have another hour or two left. |
