I'm beginning to question the point of them really.
It can be very confusing when talking to someone who has the green tick as to why it was given. I've once asked a single male could I see his verification/s as he had them hidden. He said all the people had left the site and he no longer had comments. Sounds fair enough but I asked him would he mind at least showing his verification summery as that stays the same. He said he didn't know how to and then when he did they were all webcam verifications. He had lead me to believe he was actively meeting and had experience.
I just think it would be easier if they were got rid of or a different colour tick used instead. Like blue for cam and green for meeting in person. We already have the flag verification anyway.
What do ye think? |

Well they got rid of the phone verifications a long time ago and to be fair we don't place much trust in webcam verifications (whose to say its not a pre recorded image)
Its a good way to get verified and get a foot in the door but that's about it. |

i dont understand them either just like the private notes thing aswell just because u see someone on cam doesnt mean they are genuine. |

I totally agree. The verified by webcam is useless in my humble opinion  |

Private notes are dead handy for us. If one of us likes or doesn't a profile we just stick it down for the other half to see later. All our block list have private notes as to why their blocked. Saves the question er why did you block this person |

"i dont go by verifications that much i go by my gut feeling and if a friend knows them or has met them its a much better judge as who is going to wright up a bad verification  "

Even a meet verification doesn't mean this person is genuine. In fact I could meet the person myself and that still doesn't mean that they are 100% who they claim to be

I agree totally it can be off putting personally we have our verifications hidden but always have the summary shown. But people who swing and people who cam are two totally different species of peeps! |
