It's a social drink! What's with the naming and shaming. I've been to social things where people haven't shown up, no big deal. Didn't warrant their names to be put in the forum. Everyone does their homework before these things and asks for confirmation that they will be there. Sadly for whatever reason you might get the odd one or two that won't appear but you'll most probably bump into them at another event along the line. Don't think they need to be named and shamed here.

The night of yer social... i may take a drive to galway... but not stay. Which means driving home again. And DD means designated driver.. so other people can jump in the roxie mobile to go on the little road trip to galway... but just a word of warning.. the back seats are a serious squash!!!

Have to agree with you there, it's a social not a play party, in my experience you invite the same amount of guys and gals and only half the guys turn up anyway so you have no real way of knowing the numbers till the night!
