Why do some people insist on being rude and ignorant where it costs nothing to be nice. And you get so much back in return.
I know that some people cannot take no for an answer but is it not better to rise above their ignorance? |

We have always been very careful not to be rude to anyone. We reply to almost all messages regardless of who they are from.
That being said......we have also been incredibly lucky nit to encounter anything too bad here thankfully.

It doesn't cost anything to be nice.very true. But in my opinion that doesn't happen very often. Send a message and u don't get a reply . Then u find u are blocked. Lol. It is so hard to reply and say sorry,not interested? |

don't take a non reply as them being rude. I don't think I'm a rude person but I don't read most of the emails I get. I see the first line of the email and if it's normal enough (no tits, pussy, fuck in the first line) I have a look at the profile - if the profile doesn't interest me or is not within my preferences, I won't even open the email.
I have email filters on, so I won't use the excuse that I get 100s of emails. But I can't make the time to reply to every email. |

I just delete without replying mostly. What do i care? Its not like theres a shortage of men on here. The mails keep coming. Most messages are illegible text speak rubbish anyway. |

One guy that I met for coffee that I wasn't interested in,said he would keep an eye open for me around town!  just being polite about it just didn't seem to work |

It is nice to be nice but after four or five messages asking to meet it gets a bit tedious, I try not to block people but sometimes it's a must... It's nice to be nice but it would also be nice if some men took the first no as exactly that instead of thinking ah she'll change her mind!! |

As I always say.
Treat people the same way as you want to be treated with respect.
I do understand all the comments made but I do think if male or female takes the time to read your profile and send you a message. You should reply. If he or she gets rude or abusive after reply then block them that's what the block user is for . That's my opinion. |

I was only thinking about posting a thread along similar lines myself. We try not to be rude but some of the messaged we get are real beauts from people who don't read the profile and are using so much text speak that we don't even understand. So is it best to say nothing and delete the message? Reply with a simple No thanks not interested or actually explain why they are a no or why we found their message so offensive? We've done all 3 but I don't know if any of it went down well.

Same here..I do try usually to reply but often is as above. ... It's also does say in the guidelines that this is a way of expressing non interest and it's says on my profile for those who read it but often is simply down to time and numbers  |

I used to reply to everyone with a nice thanks but not thanks sort of message. I have to say I didn't get any abuse from it, most of the time they thanked me for replying and wished me well.
I wish there was a quick reply button, this could save time. |

I don't get the 'it's always nice to have manners' thing.
Is there a rule book somewhere that states "you should always reply to a mail, even if it's a no thank you"...
Some people won't even accept that.
In my books, a non reply IS a mannerly way of saying "no thank you"....
I mean, it could be worse!

We always try to respond politely, unless its the one liners, or someone that we've said no thanks to a couple of times already. Very rarely get abuse, then again we are fairly liberal with the block button, so we don't get abuse for long |

What makes folk think that coming on a site like this will have folk behave any differently from day to day life.
swingers are just like everyone about you,some rude,some ignorant,some ghastly but by n large mostly a decent sort.bleating that someone was deemed rude isn't going to change things,any more than standing in the middle of your local high street n giving off coz someone didn't return yr cheery hello.
that just makes you the nutter everyone crosses the street to avoid.

To be honest it's nice to be nice karma is the way.
Being a single men and not really a picture i don't get many replies from messages but getting one bk saying sorry not interested or not Wat looking for is nice as you put the effort in to message some one
