Halloween now = slutty. Not scary. Which I find sad. I like the spooky scary aspect of Halloween. |

What is the true meaning of Halloween? I am actually from a different culture, so I do not know what Halloween should mean to you guys.
You mean the pagan times? Prior to this day being actually called Halloween? Year back I have attended an amazing lecture at my University on that subject. It was fascinating to learn how the rituals looked in the pre christian times and what this day really meant to people back in the day. I wish I remembered everything from that lecture. Too much time has passed since those days...

It has feck all to do with anything scary anymore and a lot to do with 19 year old students having an excuse to dress like absolute sluts. I for one love it  |
