There are certain books that I can still remember the first time I read them and being completely blown away by

A Clockwork Orange,

Lord of the Flies,

Jane Eyre,

The Commitments

to name just a few

What are the books, or just book, that have made an impact on your life?

For a biography nothing will ever beat - Garrincha _ the triumph and tragedy of Brazils forgotten hero -

One of his legs was two inches shorter than the other, lost his virginity to a goat, his grandfather was a cannibal, won 2 world cups ,scored 34 goals for Brazil,

fucked over 200 women had at least 14 children, married Brazil's biggest singing star , killed his mother in a car crash, died aged 49 of drink.

now thats a life story

You're right I'm not reading it, I bought the audiobook to see what all the fuss was about, that way I can multi-task I'm about 3/4 way through now, 20 hours of this cr*p. I hope there's a great ending like her lip biting makes him snap and he beats both her and her inner goddess to death with the laptop he bought her. Nobody ruin it for me now, fingers crossed!!!!
