Well had an interview with Fas this morning looking to be retrained to get back work after been let go there a few weeks ago.I was totally shocked by the way i was treated the girl behind the desk offerd me a dog grooming training course and then sneared at the fun of it.I was then told because of my age most of courses were not for me, I left totally deflated no wonder this country is in a mess.Rant over. |

some of the fas staff are useless,lots of interesting and useful courses around.Try google and look for them yourself before approaching fas again and show them what your interested in.Good luck with your search  |

Aww that's a bit demoralising biggles but don't take it to heart. My vanilla Bestie runs her own dog grooming business... But you need all the equipment etc. Look around see what interests you and go for it. . Chin up hun   |

Thanks everyone nothing against dog grooming but im not a great animal lover never was but really gutted hate not working .It was just the way i was laughed at more or less i have written a formal complaint as i didnt like the ladys attitude.Im now looking at springboard.ie and going that route.thank u for everybodys comments .  |

Take no notice of FAS . . they are an unemployment agency rather than an employment agency. . . Decide for YOU what you want from life and go get it . . Ya you will get knocked about but if you are determined work hard and leave no stone unturned you will get there. . . There is always a way you just got to keep positive till you find it . . Best of luck. . |
