I wonder how many people DO ACTUALLY LURK here and never post/respond
I've chatted to lots of people who say they lurk from a distance here very regularly.
I wonder are there more regular lurkers or regular posters?

I used be a lurker..but took the bull by the horn so to speak an went for it..it can be daunting at first posting as a newbie..but now I just post or comment on things that interest me an don't worry about the "who's she" or will people get my banter etc..forums can be tricky as your posting an waiting for the unknown..but it's cool!!!  |

There is a lot more lurkers than we think, what drives me mad is the mail about a thread from some one and when u ask why don't u post that they either clam up or say no I am to shy.

But that's creeping peoples profiles... lurking here wouldn't be classed as creeping unless it was lurking on someone's page ALOT and not messaging them or responding to their mails saying "why do you keep viewing me"

Only able to start posting recently so up until now just a lurker but isn't that the same as the rest of the site? I might message one out if every 10-15 profiles I view so plenty of lurking there too :L |

Def in the part-time lurker brigade, but u should try the chatroom!!...at best there are only ever about 6/7 people chattin and the vast majority lurk...i stopped goin in because of it!!! |

Fair play to you...i stopped goin in, very much got a vibe that if you enjoyed a bit if banter and were a bit cheeky it stroked you off some peoples list, ie, they used the chatroom to find fault with people...can b easy to find fault with people on the internet id say!!...if that's you're outlook  |

What I do love about this site's forums is that they are very active with members posting quite regularly.
We used to be on another site which professes to be "Ireland's No1 Swing Site" but the forums there are hardly ever used. It's very quiet over there now....

I was not afraid to reply to posts as a newbe I even started post, but it was after a post I started asking how people felt about a married guy swinging on his own. I got some criticism in form and some cool advice.but it was a mail direct to my profile that anoyed me enough to refrain from posting so im a lurker at present. I just wish they had the courage to say openly in form how they felt. So forms are goog but you do leave your self open if you jump in . |
