So my question is - is this indeed just a series of unfortunate events or is there a possibility that something more sinister is at play ?? Personally, this has made me view friend invites/ pic displaying/messaging in a much more critical manner. I suppose that in itself is not such a bad thing but it just feels like, lately, the fun is being sucked out of us by persons and for reasons unknown." i hope its just a series of unfortunate events as i'd not like to think thing more sinister | |||

I remember when I joined a couple of years ago and almost left straight away when I heard about this sort of thing. That's not to suggest that it's acceptable, but it's certainly nothing new. | |||

"I don't know what's going on but I don't have to. It's like when something goes missing in work and people gossip about who it might have been. Sometimes its the person gossiping who did it, sometimes its the person everyone thinks, sometimes its someone no one would ever imagine. Sometimes it was the person who owned the item doing it for attention, pretending it was stolen. If you don't know, and don't have proof then you don't make accusations or hint that someone might be in the wrong. Instead from that day forward you take more care with your personal belongings. Same thing on here. People have had stuff stolen from their house, been black mailed, have had stuff posted to their facebook, have had stalkers, their personal info shared. It has happened a few different people. Who knows who does these things, but who cares, it does not really matter. Take care with your info and carry on. Protect yourself from these things happening you as best you can and carry on. Assume the worst, but hope for the best." Wise words | |||

Unfortunately there are party whores out there, that will attend and verify and big up anyone that invites them to their parties, regardless of how well run and disregarding the behaviour of the 'host' towards others....that's why Fab is so fucked up at the moment. | |||
