Swink party urgent update

it appears that someone has contacted the owners of the location and informed them that there is a swingers party on that night and they have cancelled my booking. so it this means that it only one of two things happened either someone who got an invite did this or someone who got an invite told others where it was being held....
i'm in the process of finding a new venue for that night so please bare with me thanks |

ffs , what a pack of low life jelious fookers here , dont want others to have fun if they cant , im bloody fumming here as we are sooo looking forward to it 
hope all works out for u laid as we know how much work u have put into this , and if you are able to sort out a diff venue , dont tell people til maybe a hour before hand , im sure the people on the list will understand

fuckin ireland 1950s its like....what year did we bring in condom machines to pub toilets....? thats how backwards we are...long way to go before we catch up on the rest of europe ..... |

Looks like we will have to go back to the cell system where one person meets ten others and only that person knows the venue so for a party of fifty only five know the location

Sorry to hear this has happened, but surely as this is a very select crowd of verified swingers who get an invite to this, why would somebody on the list want to spoil it? Or who ever did spoil it is leaving themselves open to acussation as they maybe haven't attended before but managed to get an invite to this one, leaving it a very small ratio of people not trusted from attending before? |

Its nothing to do with backward thinking. It's either some bitter person that didn't get an invite and perhaps 'rang around' or perhaps some male or female that was cheated on in the past by a swinging partner and has a vandeta as a result, could be lots of different situations that'd drive someone to do that but it happens frequently enough. Alternatively they could just be a complete f*ckwit |

Any time we have been attending a party , we have had messages asking us where it is as they have seen us talking about it on the forums, now I know some people just want to be nosey but I would never give the location out to anyone, maybe someone just has not been as discerning and thought they were telling someone they consider to be a friend, it's easy enough for it to happen I'm sure. |

this has also happened on a few occassion but we would never tell them , not even our good friends here , if they want to know , they have to contact the host for an invite ,

Thats just typical but think of this, it would have to be someone that knows you as they would need your full name so as to contact the hotel as there is more than one apartment there. We have our room booked and are still heading up so if anyone wants to meet for a drink sat night drop us a mail. |

Sorry to hear this and hope you get to the bottom of what happened.
Laid try not to be deflated, you and the Swink team are great people who make things happen. I have every confidence in you securing an alternative venue. You hit a wall and you push through, keep going, don't stop.
As mentioned earlier by Cj, and I appreciate people need to book rooms etc, but I always feel better when a location is only released hours before kick off.
If I can be of any assistance to either of you, just shout or call on me.

Aww laid that's horrible! There are some very nasty people around obviously who don't care that people have arranged to get away. . Get babysitting. . Get hotels etc. Hope you get it sorted ...If anyone can you can. You should all go anyway and have your own party !!! Good luck |

well i have exhausted all options and i'm afraid il have to cancel this party as i cant find a suitable location for this weekend at such short notice. but i may have found a much better place for the next one.
but from now on only people i know and trust will know the location anyone else will just be told a meeting point close by and ill meet everyone there and travel to the venue also i will no longer be posting when the parties are on in the forums only the people i know and trust will know and if they know anyone interested in the party they can mail me etc |

ah we so sorry to hear that laid, and we appreciate all the work uve put into this in trying to organise it. and as we were going we will still like to pay our money as we know uve probally lost ur deposit through no fault of ur own.

aww I'm sorry you didn't get it sorted but I think that's probably the way to go which is a real shame as people who haven't tried parties before will miss out because of some dick who is just nasty! Good luck with the next one hun.. bigger and better all the way mmwwah x |

Such a crappy thing for someone to do, to ruin the fun for everyone else. I hope there's payback somewhere down the line for whoever it was. I think your plans for the next one sound good and secure. I wish you the best for it |
