Gutted, but I think Kerry deserved the win, the second goal was an unforgivable mistake, they didn't play as well as in the semi final!!!

I agree donegal far better team...more skill...just did not clic on Dday
kerry too cute and upped their game when put under pressure

Ahh joinus the ref today was not on the kerry side. And I'd say kerry just didn't let the Donegal team play and took their scores when they came. They did to Donegal what Donegal did to Dublin. |

Get a grip man, puke football all around, the worst All Ireland Final I have ever witnessed, and as far as a lot of the generation who remember finals going back to the 50s, they say the same, as per interviews on radio all evening. Kerry were the better of 2 negative, boring teams. What a shambles for Sky viewers, bring on the hurling reply, I say, now that is entertaining, skilful, positive and full of great scoring! Don't get me wrong, it is disappointing for Donegal in specific terms, losing an all Ireland, but in general for the "neutral" supported, it was rubbish! |

Gutted for donegal but we'll done kerry I was on the fence on this one was a bit disappointed on the game but the big stage can have that affect sometimes donegal can hold their heads high and be proud of there achievements in the championship This year xxx |

Just back home from a long, but happy day. Match was dour, but we had to adapt to that...
As for the guy who started this thread saying Donegal were better team... well, he obviously wasnt there and has same optician as the ref!
Just a proud Kerryman, but full marks to Donegal, gracious losers and great fans. Their day will come again. |

There have been plenty of poor finals and you don't need to go back to the 50s to find them. One of the Kerry - Cork finals was crap, the Dublin - Kerry final in '11 was no great shakes either, and Cork and Meath back in' 90 was absolute shite altogether. I don't think they record that on the trophy though so who cares. I can tell you Leitrim would happily take an ugly win and feck the begrudgers!
