According to bbc radio 2 the 5 greatest guitar riffs of all time are
5. Layla - Eric Clapton
4. Smoke on the water - Deep Purple
3. AC/DC - Back in black
2. Guns n Roses - sweet child o mine
1 LED ZEPPELIN - WHOLE LOTTA LOVE
I can get on board with four of five here, just never liked sweet child o mine. The number one spot really isn't up for debate. What do you think folks, whats your top five |

Jimi is, where personally I'd agree with Rory and Gary, their riffs are not so universally known the world over which is a shame but makes them real gems for real music lovers. |

In my personal opinion sweet child is one of guns worst songs and not much more than a radio friendly unit shifter.

Cream; sunshine of your love is better than most of them...

Great tune, but no Adler didn't play the drums, Sorum did. When Adler tried to play the drums he couldn't because he was so smacked off his face he couldn't so the band hoofed him out |
