It depends, Robx.
What kind of phone was it?
If it was an iPhone, might they have been backed up to the iCloud?
Would they have been saved on a memory card within the phone? |

They mightn't have been saved to the memory card so, only internally.
Is the phone receiving any power at all? If you hook it up to your PC/laptop what happens? |

"No not in any app just in gallery select pics then chose to hide "
If you can get the phone on, unhide them, plug the phone into the pc and copy them over asap.
If you have an S4 check that the battery is not swollen. If it is that's your problem (there was a bad batch of S4 batteries) and you just need to borrow another s4 battery to get the phone going to get your pics off.
Once again, I'll sing the praises of online storage such as dropbox. |

I specifically turned off the auto upload to dropbox with kids on laptop and tablet etc ...... Too easy to forget they are gone in there and mine certainly dont need to see me in naughty mode popping up unexpectedly !! |
