What does it mean if a couple reads a message, doesn't delete it but do not reply for longer than a week?
I would expect that if for some reason they are not interested that they would delete the message or would reply to say why they are not interested.
I struggle to comprehend why they would read and just keep the message unanswered for long time.
What is the purpose of it? |

In my experience it's best not to question couples motives, I'm not saying they are all strange but I've had winks from couples only to reply thinking they are showing an interest. What do I get back, nada! So why bother winking in the first place   I've learnt not to question why people do stuff on here, it just wastes to much time with no real answers  |

Haha. Same experience here. It's just I put an effort in my messages and would prefer to know if I am 'left for later' or 'that is a nice email so lets keep it, however no thank you', so I know not to contact these nice people again. The last thing I want is to pester people. |

Haha. Same experience here. It's just I put an effort in my messages and would prefer to know if I am 'left for later' or 'that is a nice email so lets keep it, however no thank you', so I know not to contact these nice people again. The last thing I want is to pester people. "
To me if they are really interested they won't forget your message and make sure they get back to you, if they don't the won't have been interested enough to actually follow up with a meet |

Thats why we have a few males on our friends list and filter the rest...we build up the trust first and then chat.... |

Thats why we have a few males on our friends list and filter the rest...we build up the trust first and then chat.... "

Maybe only one person has seen the mail and because there a cpl and do things together they wait till they both have time to read the mail, check out ur profile , and see if u suit them before mailing back !!!!!!!

Maybe only one person has seen the mail and because there a cpl and do things together they wait till they both have time to read the mail, check out ur profile , and see if u suit them before mailing back !!!!!!!

This is the case with us. Mrs Kildare reads it, but because she doesn't like the initial first few messages, and I work long hours, it could be a few days before I get to replying. |

It's not always an actual choice though, sometimes it's just laziness......they fall off the bottom after a number of weeks anyway.
But if people think like this maybe we will start to delete more of them, I hadn't considered that some might interpret it like this.... |
