Hug, kiss on cheek, awkward....

When meeting for the first time with someone for coffee to get to know each other before a real meet what greeting to you normally encounter/do...
1. Big hug
2. Hug and kiss on the cheek
3. Hug only
4. Awkward hand shake followed by awkward conversation 
5. Slight wave of the hand followed by no type of human contact and no eye contact
I've noticed Irish men are shocking at introductions alot of times compared to European counterparts  |

I depends on the type of relationship you've built up before a meet.
usually i would go with a peck on a ladies cheek and a handshake for a guy, but there's someone who i'll be meeting soon who's going to get a huge hug, not just cos I want to, but because she deserves it.  |

Im more of a hug and kiss on the cheek kind of guy but maybe people think this is old fashion or creepy?? |

When meeting a cpl I always give the male a good firm manly hand shake and always give the lady a kiss on the cheek. Have to say never had an awkward introduction .

Probably yes, well i'm just that kind of guy. I value friendship and i even hug some of my male mates when i havent seen them in a while.
But this lady is special. she deserves lots of hugs. |

when leaving one coffee meet we went outside i lit up and shook his hand as he walked away i had just taken a pull of my ciggie when she leaned in for a kiss dam i fooked that up and she was lush so if ur reading this u know who u are i apologise for the smoke screen i would love to have had that kiss |

I think it depends on how much of a realationship u've built up on here with them. But I think if it was me (who has never had a coffee meet off here) I'd prob tell her before hand that if greet her with a handshake an kiss on the cheek |
