Ridiculous stuff from the Russians. Looking more and more likely that they shot it down with 295 people on board. Seriously bad few months for Malaysia Airlines. |

Flying from west to east over a major conflict area? Also it was at 30,000ft so would take a long range missile to shoot it down.
Ukraine would have had it in its airspace across the whole country so would be extremely surprised if they did. |

Definitely seems like it was shot down, reports coming out of Ukraine saying it was shot down but doesn't say by who, news reports saying it just crashed, maybe they are being cautious until confirmation is given that it was shot down. I don't think the Ukraine would have that kind of fire power but the Russians definitely would. |

was shot down by a Buk Ground to air missile system (apparently) Ukraine armed forces would definately have something like this in their arsenal, and obviously so would mother Russia, now its a "her shot it down" "no he shot it down", think the only thing that is definately is the massively tragic loss of human life here. |

Mr69: Not taking away from this tragedy, just a strange coincidence. This triple 7 made it's maiden flight on July 17th 1997 & crashed July 17th 2014, 17 years later. |
