What is with this thing of people not showing or cancelling. From what I read in the forum, it is a common thing and people get stood up a lot.
Is this really your experience?
Who does that more, lads, girls, couples? What ages usually? With good reasons? |

Yes people don't show for loads of reasons. Reasons could be real life getting in the way, they Could have changed their mind or even just to nervous and some you don't know as they have just gone silent before the meet. I don't think you could say which group do it more as it depends on who you are looking to meet. |

Obviously genuine no shows as real life can take over!!!! But the goldfish dying really is a lame excuse. Some people love the chase but can't go through with the meet. Could be nerves or just plain game playing,that I find just childish. Especially if someone has to travel or arrange hotel. What kick they get out of someone hanging around I will never understand  |

Don't go by the Forums as it can be moan central here sometimes. There are lots of people having a huge amount of fun that never use the forums. So take what you read with a pinch of salt.
As for no shows, it does happen sadly. The only thing I can say is IF it were to happen to you don't dwell on it and move on.

Has someone used the dying fish as an excuse, or anything as silly? lol
It did not happen to me yet and I hope it will not... But is some not nice lady or a couple does that to me, I will move on to another adventure very quickly. 
I am just thinking that if lads do that to the nice people from fab than it sucks and makes the genuine ones living a harder life here. I guess that is why the verifications are so important.  |
