I sent out a few friend requests to interesting profiles as I'm new to this and don't really know how to break the ice with a message... Not for perving on pics, but as a way to put myself out there....yes I'm inexperienced, but how else could you get out there if you don't try? Maybe I'm just not worth a shot....  any advice to a newbie would be appreciated... |

Sending a friend request without a message is clearly not trying!
Read a person's profile thoroughly and tailor your message to it.
Be ad witty as you can, you gotta stand out.
Stick with the forums - a good way to get yourself known as well as suss out others personalities.

I always ask if I can send a friend request first and that would be after chatting for a while. I don't accept them if they are just sent and like others just leave them there so they can't keep resending then |
