I was sitting at home last night perving as u do when i was contacted by a profile warning me to be Carefull of what i post. As this profile was only seven hrs old i fobbed him off in his third mail he told me something that i knew had happened but was not public knowledge. What i am saying guys is be careful what u tell people personal details of ur own or others discretion, discretion, discretion at all times. Only that i had a good idea of the person he said was spreading rumours and mailed them about it he was out to start trouble.
the profile was reported and soon after was gone either by admins or he deleted but no doubt he will be back
its possible i will get a ban for discussing mails but be warned there is someone storing it |

"easy,
create an account, look up someone else snap the public pics, read forum posts and create a fb account
far too easy, so never let personal info out on fab and keep identifying pics private"
Ah so it's just using photos then to create fake accounts! Not linking to your Facebook accounts or using actual names and details? |

Watched a programme last week where it showed that apps and programmes on most portable devices (laptops/tablets/smart phones) leak information regularly. The information (or parts of the information) that is leaked is then sometimes picked up by other apps or programmes, usually if they are running in the background. These sites are usually social media sites that are geared round the collection of info/data.
So if your friends list on FB is in anyway attached to your contacts list (phone/email) or you have location services turned on on any of your apps then this data can be picked up by other apps/programmes.

Location services could land you in all sorts of trouble. If it's turned on and you tell someone your somewhere, they can see exactly where you are (so don't lie lol) also location services on your camera. Every pic or video you take leaves an electronic trail and with a quick download of a programme you can tell where and usually when a pic was taken (assuming it's taken on a smart phone or tablet). |

"Facebook is making friend suggestions linked to fab profiles. Nobody is quite sure how. The guess is something to do with isp's"
At a guess, it is more likely that some people have contact details, email addresses, phone numbers etc that also relate to a Facebook profile and they unwittingly allow the Facebook app to trawl their contacts looking for possible Facebook friends.
So you give A your email address, A then saves it, Facebook app trawls for contacts finds your email, it relates to a Facebook profile and it suggests you become friends.

All these accounts if used on a mobile phone can be dangerous as the amount of stuff going on in the background is unreal.
The facebook phone app has access to your contacts and your call logs so they know who you are calling and texting. They can access your camera and photographs, your location settings your network access settings so they know where you are.
And better still when you clicked accept when you downloaded the app or the update you gave them your permission to do so.
The last couple of updates have been particularly invavasive which is why i chose to deactivate my account with them and removed the app from my phone.
They have changed the way the app works as people have stopped using desktop pc's and all use smartphones and they didnt have the space to post the adverts on the smartphones so they are now targeting peoples personal information in order to promote brands goods and services you may be interested in.
And its only going to get worse.
If you are in any way tech savy then its easy to get information on people with having little or no information.
So look after your digital presence and make sure you are taking the correct percautions. The world is full of nutters, so you have to make sure you dont have to deal with them in your life.
Be safe out there.

Tip from nerd. That's me btw lol. Install something like offshore app ops on your phone to limit what apps can access. |

We are involved in both the swinger and naturist scene. There have been times we have had disagreements with some people and others we met are outright assholes.
It would be one thing to name and shame on sites within either of those two lifestyles. However doing so outside of those circles is never an option.
Why would you do such a thing ? It ruins the scene for everyone, be it swinging or naturist. |

Mr69: Probably factory fitted, try deleting all the updates & cache or resetting it to original settings, remembering to turn off all updates & permissions. If it's out of date, it shouldn't run. |
