Princes album "Purple Rain" was realeased 30 yrs ago this week.What memories does the title track have for you ?
I had just started my apprenticeship as a Cabinetmaker and the boss who was 10 yrs older than me was a huge music fan.He had a stereo with a super loud amp connected to it and he played the album over and over for I don't know how long and would dance around the workshop.Yes he was loopy,lol he was a great man for the ladies too and I will always remember the blonde bombshell he was dating at the time,she was sexy as hell.   |

30 years ago OMG has it been that long. I was 14 & my friends mum had the album & she lent it to me. I was hooked from that first listen. I actually bought it on CD just a few weeks ago. Every bit as good now as it was then |

i am a massive prince fan .listen to the words of the songs more then look at him and u will realise it is pure magic... lots of sexual meanings etc etc love it so much .i know all his stuff..he can play over 40 instruments ..very talented.

WOW,I never new that he can play 40 instruments ,that's unreal.I'm kinda still trying to get my head around that,thanks for posting that.  |
